    A Social Dimension for Monetizing Information 

    “What do you guys do?”

    It’s a question I get asked – and my answer is pretty straightforward and simple to understand.  We monetize business information in a social dimension.  Pretty simple.  Business people and especially sales people are always in need of accurate business intelligence and at the same time possess a great deal of knowledge and expertise. If you match up someone who “needs” with someone who “has” – it’s a win-win situation.  Doing this socially just makes good sense since it’s the easiest way to convey and transfer information.

    The Importance of a Social Network 

    Why have a social network?

    It’s not a question about joining a social networking site – but rather the existence and importance of your own social network and how you leverage that network for business value.

    And maybe you call this your business network, or business-causal network or social-business network…

    In this week’s release of Connectize – we bring forward some very fundamental features that take “social networking” to the next level and apply them to the sales and business world.  If you were to ask me “Why do you network?” – my answer would be “It’s to get the insight and knowledge that’s not available on the street”.  I am looking for “help” and I’ll work that “need” into the conversation (when appropriate). I’ll also offer my opinion or “expertise” on any other topics that are part of the same conversation.
